Motorola announces the new Moto Maxx smartphone at a press event in Brazil. The Moto Maxx is a variant of the company’s recently launched US-exclusive Droid Turbo smartphone and packs similar specifications.
Moto Maxx sports a 5.2-inch Quad-HD display and is powered by 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. The smartphone also packs a mammoth 3900 mAh battery and will be bundled with a Motorola Turbo charger, which can provide up to eight hours of power in 15 min charge.
The phone also include 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, NFC, 4G LTE and Android 4.4.4. The usual Motorola software enhancements like Moto Display and Moto Voice are also present on the Moto Maxx.

Moto Maxx includes a 21MP rear camera with 4K video recording support and 2MP front shooter with full HD recording support.
The phone is built using ballistic nylon and Kevlar for enhanced durability and comes with a water-repellent nanocoating to provide resistance against everyday spills.
Motorola has stated that Moto Maxx has been priced at BRL 2,199 (USD 872)  in Brazil and is available beginning today. The phone will go on sale in Mexico in mid-November, followed by other Latin American countries.
