Asus introduces PadFone E

Asus has silently added a new PadFone device to its portfolio. Dubbed as Asus PadFone E, the new device appeared on the Asus website today. It comes with a 4.7-inch smartphone and 10.1-inch tablet dock.

Among other specifications, the PadFone E features Android 4.3, 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and microSD card slot. It also packs 1820 mAh battery (5000 mAh battery in dock), dual-SIM support and the usual set of connectivity options.

The PadFone E will be released in Johnnie Walker Black and Pearl White colours, however the exact availability or pricing details are mystery. Notes that it could be released in Taiwan first for a price around $560 (including dock).

With the introduction of PadFone E, Asus now has a total of eight PadFone devices including PadFone mini 4.3, PadFone mini, PadFone X, Padfone Infinity, new PadFone Infinity, PadFone 2, and original PadFone.
