HTC's Nine-Inch Nexus Tablet leaked
The HTC Nexus tablet rumours, specifications are leaked and an alleged image of the device. According to a report from Android Police, HTC is working with Google to launch an 8.9-inch tablet.
Android Police notes that HTC’s 8.9-inch Nexus tablet will come with a 2048x1440p display, NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16/ 32GB of internal storage. The tablet will also come with 8MP rear camera with optical image stabilisation and 3MP front shooter.
The tablet will have aluminium zero-gap construction with tapered sides and front stereo-speakers, however the leaked image does not these features, which makes us believe that the image could just be a mock-up rather than a final design.
The tablet is reportedly set to be released in Q4 with Android 5.0.
There is still a possibility that second Nexus tablet (probably with 7-inch display), which can arrive at I/O later this month or couple of weeks after the event. Don’t have any information on the manufacturer of the other tablet.
