Motorola Moto E is Official, Pre-Orders Start At Just $129 With No Contract

After the success of its Moto G smartphone, Motorola Mobility has unveiled the new Moto E on Tuesday. Targetted to the first time smartphone buyers, the phone aims to bring the feature-phone users to smartphone generation.
“We’re pushing the boundaries of the value equation even further with Moto E, a new class of smartphone that’s fully loaded and fairly priced — a perfect combination for savvy shoppers and first-time smartphone buyers. Because smartphones haven’t always come at smart prices and we believe that people shouldn’t have to compromise on quality, style or experience,” noted Motorola in a blog post.

In addition, Moto E comes with colorful interchangeable backs — called Motorola Shells — providing more than 20 color and design combinations to let you personalize the look of your phone.
According to Motorola, the dual-SIM version of Moto E will go on sale in the country mid-night tonight via Flipkart, which is exclusively retailing the phone in India. The phone has been priced at INR 6,999 and comes in Black and White colour options.
In addition to India, Moto E will also be available soon in US, UK, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, and Canada. Other markets will get the phone in the coming weeks.
