Leaked Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specifications tip Android 4.5 and 2K display

This time around, the rumoured specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 have been published by Japanese website CNMO which suggests several upgrades over the existing Galaxy Note 3.

According to the website, the alleged Galaxy Note 4 can come with a 4K UHD display. Though this seems very unlikely, we can except a 2K display (2560 x 1440) resolution which was earlier speculated for the Samsung Galaxy S5.

The other rumoured specifications of the Galaxy Note 4 indicate it will be powered by 64-bit processor, much like Apple iPhone 5s. The company is also said to be using its next-generation 20nm fabrication for the SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM.

On the camera front, it is speculated that Galaxy Note 4 might pack a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera with ability to record 4K resolution videos and built-in OIS feature. On the connectivity front it is said to support the same USB 3.0 and 2.0 just as the Note 3, with 4G and dual-band Wi-Fi support. Other than having a high-capacity 3600 or 3800mAh battery, it is expected to be dust and water resistant like Galaxy S5, with IP67 certification.

The Galaxy Note 4 is also expected to come with Android 4.5, as well as a 128GB variant. The website also mentions the speculated price of the Note 4 to be around CNY 5,000 (less than $800), which translated to roughly Rs. 48,000.
