Google is working on a MediaTek-powered Nexus smartphone. As the report comes with an unverified source, we are sceptical and until there is any credible evidence, we suggest you take it with a pinch of salt.
According to MTKSJ, this Nexus smartphone will be priced closer to $100 and will be targeted to developing markets where low-cost smartphones are popular. If this rumour turns out to be true, we could see the release of two Nexus smartphones this year including the traditionally high-end Nexus smartphone.
