Google launches Chrome Remote Desktop app for Android
Google released the Chrome Remote Desktop Android app in Google Play. The app allows the consumers to remotely connect with their computers using Chrome Remote Desktop app.
“Since 2011, Chrome Remote Desktop has let you remotely access your machine from another laptop or computer in a free, easy and secure way. And now, with the release of the Chrome Remote Desktop app for Android, we’re making it possible for you to do the same thing from your Android device,” noted Husain Bengali, Remotely Controlled Product Manager in a blog post.
The Chrome Remote Desktop Android app first needs the computers to be set-up for remote access using Chrome Remote Desktop app on Chrome browser. The computer client can be grabbed from Chrome Web Store using this link. Once set-up, the users will be able to connect to the remote machines from their Android devices using the Android app.
